The mandatory evacuation orders have been lifted for Oak Glen and the staff and trainees have returned to the property. This past week we have been putting out hot spots and making repairs to the electrical and water supply lines on the upper part of the property, which were damaged by the fire and the bulldozer cutting the fire break. We did discover that we lost an old wooden shed which had caught on fire and was then buried by the bulldozer cutting the fire break on our property. In the coming weeks we will be working on a plan to mitigate the possibility of flash floods and mudslides due to the extensive loss of plants and trees on the mountain side above us. We thank the Lord for His protection and trust that He will provide for the ongoing needs.
