2 Cor. 4:3-4  And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in those who are perishing, in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelievers that the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine on them.



2.What is this gospel?


Heb. 1:3  [The Son is] the effulgence of His glory and the impress of His substance…

2 Cor. 4:6  The God who said, Out of darkness light shall shine, is the One who shined in our hearts…



3.Who is qualified to announce this gospel?


  1. Constitution


2 Cor. 3:18  But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit.





2 Cor. 4:2  We have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every conscience of men before God.


Phil. 2:14-15  Do all things without murmurings and reasonings that you may be blameless and guileless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine as luminaries in the world.

a.Have direct, personal contact with Christ


2 Cor. 4:6  …The One who shined in our hearts to illuminate the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
